CAIRN Traveler (CT) Week in Review

So apologies for this being massively late and EP10 will likely release very closely behind this. This episode ended up a bit longer than I foresaw and took longer to finish the edit. Also apologies for the shaky footage and wind noise with the hiking footage - I look forward to using the gamble again and using a dead cat in the future.

I can’t believe it’s already February - this year is flying and it’s time to find some adventure and make some memories. During this stretch of days off I had my a beautiful hike on the Church Rock Trail at Red Rock Park. I also did the first National Parks road trip of 2021 to Montezuma Castle (and Well) National Monument as well as Tuzigoot National Monument, all in and around the beautiful town of Cottonwood, AZ.

I’d highly recommend Rich Roll’s interview (either on YouTube or Apple Podcasts) with The Minimalists - a GREAT conversation. Rich is always at the top of my list for road trip material.

In almost every situation, just starting is the hardest part. I made some time to get moving on my 2021 goals this week. I used the Fender Tune iPhone app to get the guitar ready for practice and did my first training run with the C25K app.

I’m headed into another stretch of five days at work so the next VLOG may be a bit sparse for material but I’ll keep you posted on how the running goes.
