CAIRN Traveler (CT) Week in Review
So I just finished a stretch of 5 days at work which means I pretty much just worked since we last talked so this will be a short video.
I thought I would share the unboxing of the RODE VideoMic Pro+ and a comparison of this versus the RODE Wireless GO lapel mic. The VideoMic Pro was the last item on my videography wish list for the time being. To be honest (and I still have to tinker with it’s settings) but I feel like the jury is still out on whether or not the audio is better than the Wireless GO as I’m still very happily surprised by how good the lapel mic audio sounds. This first test sounded a little tinny with the absence of the deeper resonance I feel like you get from the lapel mic. I will continue to test various settings and let you know how it goes. What do you guys think and prefer for the audio?
