CAIRN Traveler (CT) Week in Review

Okay it seems a trend that I'm consistently running behind with getting these videos out but given that I'm working the next 5 days, I should be able to keep the next video short and get it out on time (which by the way the goal is for Tuesdays). That being said, this was a fantastic week filled with adventures and plenty of footage to go along with it. This last week of days off included trips to the following awesome places:

The drive to make 2021 amazing and to seize the time has really prompted me to seek as much adventure as I can find. Already the days are getting warmer and longer . . . I again get to enjoy the sunset on the way in to work . . . and I look forward to even warmer weather and that wonderful warm smell of the sun-kissed desert coming back. I've had a great experience wintering in the Airstream - at the most our temps have dropped to -1 and I've found I just don't think I need to skirt the Airstream at all here so that project will be deferred to a later date and location where it is needed. Making these videos has also prompted me to further seek out adventure to share something exciting with you each week - so thank you for that!

See you back next week!! 😎

PRODUCTION NOTES

Cameras: Canon EOS R5, Apple iPhone XS Max, DJI Mavic 2, GoPro Hero 7 Black

Audio: RODE Wireless GO and Device Native Mics

Editing: Adobe Premier Pro (Creative Cloud)

Music: Epidemic Sound and MUSICBED

**This was my first time using the drone in quite a while and it got me back into the mindset - I'm researching creating waypoint flight plans and follow mode for future projects. This was also my first time using the Canon EOS R5 for moving VLOG as well as using the RODE Wireless GO with a dead cat cover to minimize the wind (which has been a huge problem with video lately as we have very few non-windy days in Gallup). I could not be more happy with this performance - both these systems handled brilliantly and will definitely shape the way I make future video content. I also feel like I'm getting better (or at least FASTER) with complex editing with simply pushing to make content each week and staying in these creative systems but I'll let you be the judge.
